Used by famous Nepalese Gurkhas in the siege of Delhi in 1857, in the French World War I trenches, through the New Guinea jungle, in World War II, and with distinction in the Falkland Islands. The blade is 1/4 "thick with deep grooves and the traditional religious notch. Traditional, native wood handle. Metal buttplate. Authentic military design of the Gurkha Regiments in India.
