Magnum Akito Last Black Samurai

The battle-ready Magnum Akito is a real functional sword and not only suitable for katas (forms of exercise) or iaito (drawing exercises), but also for tameshigiri (cutting tests). In order to be able to carry out a cutting test, you need a particularly high-quality, sharp blade with good edge retention. The blade of the Akito is made of clay-hardened 1045 carbon steel, with real hamon (hardening line). The overall construction is particularly robust. The blade is continuous almost to the end of the handle and is fixed by two Mekugis. The functional sword is delivered with a beautifully varnished wooden scabbard including a traditional eyelet (Kurigata and Shito-Dome).
