Boker Tirpitz-Damast 42 pocket knife. A luxury knife with a damascus steel blade. High resistance AlMgSi1 aluminum handle with walnut wood scales.
The Boker Tirpitz Damascus 42 stands out for its incomparable damascus blade. The 300-ply Tripitz Damascus blade is hand forged in the Great Pyramid pattern. The combination of Tirpitz steel with carbon tool steels also results in an extremely durable Damascus steel, with a Rockwell hardness of 61 to 63 HRC. The blade has a 1.5 mm liner lock and opens thanks to the nail groove.
The high-strength aluminum handle AlMgSi1 (significantly higher quality than the usual AlMg3 due to the silicon content) is anodized and allows the knife to sit securely and comfortably in the hand. The convertible clip (tip-up/tip-down) allows you to wear it in the desired position. We chose local walnut wood as the material for the grip inlay, which has a long tradition as a standard long gun wood due to its excellent properties. Includes the original Tirpitz coat of arms. This pocket knife combines history, tradition and modern technology in a unique way, made entirely by hand at the Boker factory in Solingen. Delivery takes place in a high-quality transparent frame box with certificate and serial number.
Sister ship to the battleship Bismarck, Tirpitz is the largest battleship ever built in Europe sunk off the Norwegian coast in 1944. Parts of Tirpitz's special armor were recovered and are used in the manufacture of Böker's Tirpitz.
