KAI Shun Damascus series knives feature a forged stainless damascened steel blade and internal structure with a VG-MAX class steel core, which is highly resistant to corrosion and has a superior 32-layer distribution.

The layered structure provides a hardness of 61±1 HRC in the initial core and more malleable outer layers, which facilitates the subsequent sharpening of the blade, without losing its hardness.

Ergonomic handle for perfect cutting control.
