Boker Tirpitz-Damast Wood 42 collection pocket knife with damascus blade and aluminum and walnut handle
The Boker Tirpitz-Damast Wood 42 stands out for its incomparable damascus blade and its elegant walnut wood scales. The 300-ply Tripitz Damascus blade is hand forged in the Great Pyramid pattern. The combination of Tirpitz steel with carbon tool steels also results in an extremely durable Damascus steel, with a Rockwell hardness of 61 to 63 HRC. The blade has a 1.5 mm liner lock and opens thanks to the nail groove.
The walnut handle makes it a very elegant knife. The matt wood of the contoured handle scales is three-dimensionally milled using CNC technology, the front proudly features the Tirpitz coat of arms and lettering.
This pocket knife combines history, tradition and modern technology in a unique way, made entirely by hand at the Boker factory in Solingen. Delivery takes place in a high-quality transparent frame box with certificate and serial number.
Sister ship to the battleship Bismarck, Tirpitz is the largest battleship ever built in Europe sunk off the Norwegian coast in 1944. Parts of Tirpitz's special armor were recovered and are used in the manufacture of Böker's Tirpitz.
